Dr Tristan McAlpine
General Practitioner
Dr Tristan McAlpine grew up in Bendigo, Victoria. He studied science at the University of Melbourne then worked as a scientist at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in Melbourne. In 2010, he moved to Wollongong to study Medicine then gained a wide range of clinical experience in Wollongong and Bendigo hospitals. He commenced general practice training in 2017 and obtained his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019.
He enjoys all aspects of GP but has a particular interest in men’s health, chronic and preventative care and minor skin procedures.
He has recently relocated to Hobart with his family and is a keen astrophotographer.
