Dr Sian Stephens
General Practitioner
Dr Sian Stephens is a vocationally-recognised General Practitioner, who has returned to her home town of the Gold Coast after working in rural and remote areas of Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Sian studied at the University of Queensland, and worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital for three years before completing her Fellowship on the Gold Coast in 2017. She also holds a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with special interests in rural medical, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, expedition wilderness and travel medicine, public health and preventative healthcare, chronic disease management, and women’s health including antenatal care, Implanon insertion, and PCOS management.
