Dr McKenzie is originally from Canada, travelled to Australia on a working holiday and settled in Tasmania after falling in love with the state (and her husband). She studied medicine at the University of Tasmania and graduated in 2018. Prior to this she worked for 10 years as an RN in ICU, emergency and rural/remote areas in Australia and Canada.
She has completed post-graduate medical training in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology. In her free time, she loves to go on outdoor adventures with her husband and children.
