Dr Muhammad Asif
General Practitioner
Dr Muhammad Asif graduated in Medicine in 1989 and arrived in Australia in 2002. After working several years as a procedural General Practitioner in rural South Australia he gained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2004 and moved to Geelong in 2005. Dr Asif is an experienced general practitioner with a particular interest in cardiovascular disease. He holds a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine, and performs skin surgical procedures and joint injections. Dr Asif is fluent in English and Bengali and has a working knowledge of Urdu and Hindi. Dr Asif has been an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2007 and he is also an examiner for the Deakin University Medical School.
