Dr Kylie Scott
General Practitioner
Dr Kylie Scott is an experienced female GP with a breadth of experience across multiple areas.
She is passionate about Women’s and Children’s health, Infectious Disease, Tropical Medicine, and person centered care. She holds additional qualifications as a HIV and Hepatitis B S100 prescriber.
Dr Scott completed her Medical degree through UNSW in Sydney in 2008. She subsequently completed 6 years of further hospital based training to proceed through to finishing her Physicians exams, and commencing as an Advance Trainee in Infectious Disease. Alongside this Dr Scott completed a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene through Liverpool University in the UK.
Dr Scott moved back to Melbourne to be closer to her family, and pivoted her training to General Practice to accomplish better work life balance. She graduated as a member of the Royal Australian College of GP’s in 2020 and has been working locally in Melbourne ever since.
Outside of work she is a proud mother to two wonderful daughters, who keep her humble.(and provide plenty of learning opportunities of their own)! Previous passions included dancing and travel. Her current viable passions include family, friends, and coffee.
