
Dr Kiat Cheng

Dr Kiat Cheng is a Queensland-trained GP with special interests in skin cancer and dermatology, sports medicine, and chronic disease management.
After completing his degrees in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Health Science at the University of Queensland in 2015, he undertook his internship and residency in regional Queensland before joining the GP training through The James Cook University. Following the attainment of his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2022, he pursued further training in skin cancer medicine through Bond University. He has since completed the Professional and Advanced Certificates in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery and is proficient in doing skin checks and mole-mapping.
His main interests include the surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancer, general dermatology, sports medicine and injury management, as well as minor procedures such as wart and mole removal, treatment of ingrown toenails, and Implanon insertion and removal.
Please note that Dr Cheng does not prescribe drugs of dependence, including Opioids and Benzodiazepines.
