Dr John Brazil

John Brazil MB BCH BAO, MSc, MICGP is an experienced GP who completed vocational training in Ireland.
He has extensive experience in adult medicine holding membership of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland as well as Membership of the Irish College of General Practitioners. He enjoys the varied practice and human connection of General Practice and is always keen to spend time getting to know his patients.
He has a special interest in all aspects of General Practice especially chronic disease management, endocrinology, diabetes and metabolic health with experience in specialist endocrinology services.
He holds a Master of Science in Obesity Medicine and has published research in the area. He enjoys primary care dermatology and has Skin Cancer College Australasia and postgraduate certificates in dermoscopy and dermatology.
He has moved to Melbourne from Ireland with his young family having previously worked in hospital and rural medicine in WA in his younger days. Outside of work he enjoys playing tennis, keeping fit and keeping up with his young kids!
