Dr Ivy Huang
General Practitioner
Dr Yi Huang, known as Dr Ivy Huang, is a General Practitioner with MBBS, PhD, and FRACGP qualifications.
Dr Huang completed her medical degree in China in 2011, followed by a PhD from the University of Western Australia in 2015, focusing on chronic liver disease.
She worked in postdoctoral medical research at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital for four years before returning to clinical practice in 2019. Since then, she has worked across various hospitals and specialties in Western Australia.
Dr Huang began working in general practice in 2023 and has since completed her GP fellowship.
She is passionate about all aspects of general practice and is committed to delivering patient-centred care.
Her areas of interest include women’s health, children’s health, antenatal care, menopause management, mental health, chronic disease management, weight management, contraception, Implanon insertion and removal, and minor procedures.
Languages spoken: English and Mandarin.
Outside of work, Dr Huang enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies.
