Contracts, pay and hours
-
Do you pay weekly or fortnightly?
We distribute the billings to GP’s on a fortnightly basis… we do not ‘pay them’… they are independent contractors that pay us a service fee
-
What hours am I expected to work?
That is up to you…provided you are within the clinics operating hours, we are happy to work around what hours you wish to work and what support services are available to you during these times
-
Do I have to work weekends/go on a weekend roster?
No. In some situations, we may be seeking this, however, this would be outlined to you upfront so that you can decide if this is what you are happy to do
-
How much time off roster (leave) can I have each year?
We have no set amount for all. This amount would be discussed and agreed upon with each GP/clinic individually
-
Do you offer an initial guarantee with your offer?
This is determined on an individual basis subject to the role taken up and the contract/agreement presented. In a lot of cases, we can offer an initial guarantee of between 1 and 3 months
-
What type of contracts/agreements do you offer?
We can tailor our contracts/ agreements to suit you and what are the needs of the individual clinic. You can choose to elect for an open/ flexible agreement offering a ‘no frills’ percentage of billings and a 30 day notice period. Alternatively, you can look to take up a fixed-term contract/ agreement which has the potential to also include a small capital payment on top of the standard terms agreed to
Clinic information
-
How many patients am I expected to see at your clinic?
We tailor appointments to suit what you prefer. If you prefer 10 minute consults, 15 minute consults or 20 min initial consults, all clinics can adapt to your needs and change as needed. We do not dictate your patient volumes at any stage
-
Do I have to do my own care plans or do your nurses do these?
Each clinic has a dedicated CDM nurse who will work with each GP to provide the support needed. How much is completed by the nurse and GP can be discussed individually
-
What software are you using at your clinic? Is training provided?
A lot of our clinics nationally are using ZedMed however a small number are using Best Practice and Medical Director. If you are unfamiliar with these programs, a full induction will be provided for you prior to or on your first day
-
Are your clinics only bulk billing clinics?
No, we have a great mix of private billing, mixed billing and bulk billings clinics across our network
-
I am moving interstate; can I relocate to another Partnered Health clinic?
Yes, should we have available roles at clinics in the location in which you are looking
-
Can I work across multiple clinics at the same time?
Yes, should we have available roles for you

I’m a new Fellow can I apply for a position if I haven’t received my paperwork yet?
